Aimee Lindamood is an Art Director and designer who believes concepts are worth pushing and comfortable is the downfall of great design. Based in Nashville, she brings an editorial eye to creative direction, a healthy respect for the details, and very little interest in letting a project feel “good enough” if she has anything to say about it.
Aimee is an Art Director and designer whose career has moved through publishing, in-house creative teams, and agency life, which means she’s seen a good idea survive just about every kind of process. She’s happiest somewhere between the big picture and the tiny detail, shaping the concept, bringing the right people into it, and staying close enough to the work to know when something still isn’t quite clicking. Her editorial roots continue to influence how she thinks about nearly everything: start with a point of view, know who you’re talking to, and give every element a reason to be there.
She’s also a lifelong collector of ideas, magazines, artist biographies, and screenshots she swears she’ll reference later. She cares a lot about good people making good work together, asking better questions before jumping to answers, and details that most people may never consciously notice. She will also continue defending the Oxford comma with considerably more conviction than the situation requires.
